About Us...
Greetland Private Day Nursery is a family run nursery established in 1999. Tucked away in the former St Patrick's School building in West Vale, we benefit from spacious and light nursery rooms, lots of outdoor play space and a private car park for our nursery customers. We have a purpose built baby unit for our youngest children and a relaxing out of school club room for school aged children.
We are just 5 minutes from junction 24 of the M62 making us an ideal nursery for parents looking for child care in Halifax or Huddersfield, and for those who commute to Leeds, Bradford and Manchester.

Our team is specially trained and experienced in caring for children from just a few weeks old. The team is led by a manager and deputy who are both early years teachers. In addition, the manager holds a Masters in Education.
At GPDN each age group has its own room, its own playground and its own team of dedicated, professional staff. In addition, all the children in the nursery have use of additional play and learning facilities beyond their own room.
We always aim to work alongside you in caring for your children. We provide lots of information about the nursery via this website, social networks and daily contact with staff members.
GPDN is registered with and inspected by Ofsted. At our last inspection in November 2013 we were graded 'good' in all areas. We offer free nursery education for 2, 3 and 4 year olds and accept all childcare vouchers.
