About Us

Little Acorns Day Nursery is owned by Mrs Allison Lee who has almost twenty years experience in childcare. Allison took over the running of the nursery in October 2010 and employs a dedicated, experienced and suitably qualified team. We aim to provide a nurturing, caring and secure environment where each child is treated as an individual and respected for who they are and the qualities they have. Allison purchased her second nursery, Daisychain, in Hook just outside Goole in March 2013 and also owns and runs a training company specialising in childcare. In addition to running her businesses Allison is also a published author of childcare books aimed at both parents and practitioners and her latest book was published in November 2013 by Bloomsbury.
