Photography for Beginners

This was the first course that I had attended on Photography and being a 'beginners' course it was ideal for me. The tutor Andy was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and made you feel at ease on the first session. It was a small group which I personally prefer, we covered lots of interesting topics, we were shown/demonstrated lots of different photography equipment and a big advantage for me was being shown the menu/setting on MY camera. This enabled me to be more familiar with my camera, especially when on my own, which in turn gave me more confidence and knowledge to use it.
We were given a small task to take away and complete each week and also took photos during the sessions, both of which Andy would give his honest and constructive feedback on. These exercises greatly helped me to understand the good/and not so good aspects of my photography which in turn was a very valuable 'hands on' learning experience.
I learnt lots about different aspects of photography from the course

Photoshoot

Andy provided fantastic direction and assurance on our shoot today, which made me feel more relaxed as it was exactly what I needed as a new model. It was a really fun shoot and the photos turned out fantastic! If anyone needs a good portrait photographer, look no further!

Photoshoot

Andy has such a talent when it comes to photography, and is a lovely person as well. He made us instantly feel comfortable and he was such a pleasure to work with.

As i was the one to put out the casting he asked my opinion on the shots and if i wanted any particular poses..etc.

i noticed he gave great directions to the model also, and was constantly looking for the best areas, lighting and poses to better what stunning shots we already had!

Andy definitely knows what hes doing, i would 100% recommend him!
